I had a great time at Hotel Shelley! The location is super convenient, just a block away from Ocean Drive and the beach, and the staff made my stay enjoyable with their warm hospitality. While the rooms were a bit dated and had some quirks, the friendly atmosphere and the proximity to nightlife overshadowed those minor inconveniences. Overall, it felt homey, and I’d totally come back for another visit.

The room was snug and had a touch of the old vibe, but the bed was comfy enough for me. The mini fridge was stocked, leaving little space for my drinks, which was a bit annoying. I also heard some complaints about very cold showers, but I found if you adjust the knob halfway, it works fine.

The staff was really good! Nelson at the front desk is a rockstar; he made me feel welcomed and was super helpful throughout my stay. There was always someone greeting me with a smile, which made a big difference. Even though I ran into some issues with my room key, the staff was patient and attentive.
